The beginning of wine!
The grapes are filling out very nicely. Very even in size and nice full clusters. The fruit is still a little heavy. We will make one more pass to thin crop after Veraison. The vines are still growing so will need to hedge again. The weather is back to normal with highs in the mid-80s [...]

We were privelaged to be a Feature Winery at last weekends International Pinot Noir Celebration held in McMinnville, OR. Over 60 wineries from Australia, New Zealand, Austria, France, California, and Oregon participated. Youngberg Hill made many new freinds and lovers of our wines. As always, it was a fantastic event. Wine in the making

The Weekend

Warm summer nights
