Another Perfect day in Paradise
The weather is still cooperating for the grapes to turn color and begin to ripen. We are going to drop a little more fruit to reduce the green grapes left, take off a little sunburn, and enhance ripening with a little less fruit to mature. We had a beautiful affair with Gizelle and Ashley last [...]
20 YEARS
Youngberg Hill Vineyards & Inn is celebrating 20 years. The Inn was completed 20 years ago and the first two blocks of Pinot noir were also planted in 1989. Look for special events taking place this fall to celebrate with us. Share on Facebook
What's happening at Youngberg Hill
Camelot block is growing amazingly well. We planted these last fall and they are bigger then knee high already. They have loved the weather this year! The warmer weather is helping the grapes and plants ripen just right. We are done with our last spraying program and can now focus on the harvesting in the [...]
Not only grapes

Veraison
The grapes are starting to turn in the Pinot noir. The fruit is full, the cluster count is high and the clusters are heavy. We have thinned twice already and are deciding whether to cut again before harvest and when. Share on Facebook

The Sounds of Summer were beautiful at Youngberg Hill
For the 5th year in a row we were honored to host this benefit for the Linfield Chamber Orchestra featuring the Mike Strickland Trio Friday night. What talented musicians we are blessed to have right here in McMinnville. A big Thank you to Kellie Menke and Kathleen Bernards for sponsoring this event every year. Next [...]
