June is a very busy time in the vineyard with shoot positioning, wire raising, suckering, shoot thinning, spraying, mowing, etc. So hoeing unfortunately takes a back seat to those activities. That is obvious by the height of the grass surrounding these new vines planted last fall. Only dedicated workers like these will work all day
