Tasting Experience

A Seated Tasting is a special experience. We offer 6-8 wines that are customized to your palate. Our wines reflect the rich diversity of the Youngberg Hill terroir. The Tasting is hosted in an intimate setting with one of our wine ambassadors. For an hour to an hour and half, you have the undivided attention of a knowledgeable professional to talk about these select wines, general wine education, information about our property and its AVA, and answer any kind of question you may have. This tasting is for all levels of wine lovers, from novices to oenophiles and can accommodate up to 12 guests for one seating. Guests of the Inn taste for half-price.

Winemaker Tour & Tasting

Spend an intimate 2 hours with Wayne Bailey as you tour our organic vineyard and sip our Estate-produced wines.  The Winemaker Tour & Tasting is an exclusive experience focused on all aspects of viticulture, terroir, and winemaking. You will tour our multifaceted vineyard and taste wine with Wayne Bailey, who was named in 2018 as one of the Top Ten Oregon Winemakers. Please allow for 120 minutes for this appointment. Ticket cost is $100/person; minimum of 2 people required. Member discounts apply. To make a reservation, please contact Youngberg Hill directly at 503.472.2727. Reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations less than 48 hours will be refunded 50% of the ticket cost.


Wine Tastings

Visit our Tasting Room to sample our award-winning wines. The $20.00 wine tasting fee includes 4-6 wines of our currently released vintages. You may also sample Library wines for an additional fee. Visit us before 1 pm for half-priced tastings. While you are here, be sure to take in an unparalleled view our vineyard, the Eola-Amity mountain range, and beyond that, the Cascades. Clear days give you a spectacular view of Mt. Jefferson and Mt. Hood.
