It is winter in wine country on Youngberg Hill.
What fun we had this morning waking up to 5 inches of fresh snow. We went sledding and made snowmen with our guests and girls. It was so beautiful listening to the silence of the snow falling. I find that surprising because it is always so quiet up here anyway, but this morning you could hear the breath in your body. In that peaceful moment you know how precious everything is. Then you hear the laughter of the kids and guests sledding down the hill. Wow!
We rarely get snow so when it’s here we really get out and enjoy it. It reminds us to be kids all over again.
The Inn photo was taken by our neighbor and good friend Judy Horner. Judy is a professional photographer and has had photo exhibits throughout the valley. Thank you Judy.
