June is a very busy time in the vineyard with shoot positioning, wire raising, suckering, shoot thinning, spraying, mowing, etc. So hoeing unfortunately takes a back seat to those activities. That is obvious by the height of the grass surrounding these new vines planted last fall.
Only dedicated workers like these will work all day every day and do the job well. Thank all of them for their efforts for without them we would not have the woanderful wineto drink that we enjoy.
Another great day on Youngberg Hill.
