The vines are growing, the flowers are blooming, and the ground is drying here on Youngberg Hill in Oregon wine country. The sky is clear, the moon is full, and the warm nights are glorious.
There is plenty going on as we are shoot positioning, raising catch wires, weed hoeing, suckering, and spraying. We went up to Dave and Robin Grooter’s vineyard last night and had a wonderful dinner up on their spectacular hill where grapes are grown for their Carlton Cellars wines.
Our guests are enjoying these beautiful days of serenity on the hill, enjoying our estate grown wines, and marveling at the views from Mt Hood to the coast.
