The perfect respite in Oregon Wine Country. Chad took the time to absorb the serenity of The Hill. We are blessed with guests that find the peace on this good earth.

For someone who’s had a rough, but also blessed last couple of years: This trip and stay here has been something unique and memorable that I will never forget. Coming back from Iraq as a combat veteran and sniper has been a rough transition into “normal” standards of life. Being so wound up, on edge, and irritable all the time weighs on a young man’s soul. At least it did for mine. The search and quest for peace and quiet became a major focus for me the last two years. Thank God I’ve received amazing help from communities that love their veterans or else I don’t think it would have been possible to enjoy this amazing place of peace, quiet and relaxation.
Just taking a walk through the backyard in the vineyard has been so peaceful and needed for my soul. Three consecutive combat tours and over two and a half years on the ground in Iraq drove me into survival overload where my instincts have taken over even when I didn’t want them too.
This weekend I found something special here that I will never forget. I wish I could stay in this quiet, beautiful and serene place longer but life awaits me.
I’ll be back soon.
Thank you
