The Natasha’s Block sits on 6.6 estate acres facing South East giving the maximum amount of sunlight in equal distribution to the vines. This wine is approachable now or worthy of cellaring for at least 15 years.

    Tasting Notes:

    Aromas of dark cherry cola, candied apple, raspberry, rhubarb, and currant share the stage with orange peel, spice box, cocoa, tobacco, and cinnamon. The palate is alive with flavors of fresh berries, cherry skin and currant. Distinguished and approachable tannins linger for a lasting finish with light acidity for balance.

    Pairing Suggestions:

    A beautiful and classic Pinot to pair with duck breasts, baked salmon, or pork tenderloin.

The Jordan Block sits on 4 estate acres facing South East at a steeper slope than the Natasha and getting more benefit from the coastal breeze each afternoon. A wine with Burundian character and substance, the fruit from this block is especially age worthy. This wine is approachable now or worthy of cellaring for at least 12 years.

    Tasting Notes:

    Dark cherry, blackberries, currant and blue plum along with brown sugar, cassis, and hints of black pepper and smoke lead s to an elegant and opulent palate with flavors of rich blueberries fresh and mineral notes. The finish is lush with a full and round texture.

    Pairing Suggestions:

    A fuller bodied Pinot with nicely balanced acidity and tannins makes this wine very food friendly going magically with any red meat and wild mushroom dishes.

    Dark inky red color. Aromas of blackberries, blueberries, tobacco, and barrel smoke. The flavors are alive with dark cherries, blackberries, black raspberries, and black currant. The depth of this wine also presents rhubarb, pomegranate, and leather. The finish is short and keeps asking for more.

2010 Aspen Pinto GrisOur 2010 Aspen Pinot Gris is the second vintage with our own estate grown fruit from the Aspen Block. The 2010 vintage is loaded with fruit flavors and complexity that that will have you smiling from the first sip. The 2010 vintage is loaded with fruit flavors and complexity. It is fun to drink because every time you take a sip, you discover a new dimension. With Residual Sugar of 1.0 and a little higher acidity, it is very crisp with a soft, clean finish.

    Brilliant fruit aromatics range from peach, grapefruit, with just a hint of vanilla leading to a flavor palate rich with lemon, grapefruit, and a hint of earth. Its texture gives way to a wonderfully smooth and round finish that is easy to drink on its own and food friendly.

    Pairing Suggestions:

    This wine has excellent balance for drinking by itself at cool temperatures or with cheeses, a light salad or a pasta dish tossed with olive oil, basil and Parmesan.

2010 Pinot Blanc

2010 Pinot BlancThe 2010 Pinot Blanc is another expression of the lovely aspects that Pinot Blanc gives to any food. It has rich and cream flavors that makes the wine melt in your mouth, but lingers even with food. Flavors of banana, and lemon are bountiful. The 2010 is also on the dryer side at .1% Residual Sugar and higher acidity.

    Aromatics of banana and citrus will tickle your nose while bright flavors of peach, banana, and lemon will keep you coming back for another sip. The 2010 Pinot Blanc has great acids making it both easy to drink on its own and food friendly.

    Pairings Suggestions:

    The bright and beautiful acids in this wine make it a perfect with crab cakes (our favorite), scallops, civice or a crisp arugula salad.
