From Kristin;
Take a trip out to Youngberg Hill Inn and Vineyard and you will feel “on top of the world!” The owner, Nicolette Bailey, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We started with a tour of the Inn and then led immediately into their wine tasting room where we tasted and exquisite 2006 Pinot Noir, Jordan Block. The wine tasting room has a breath taking view of the vineyard and beautiful views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson.
They offer 8 rooms in the Inn and each are quite large. We stayed in the jacuzzi suite “Martini”, a very luxurious suite! Most rooms have fireplaces and large bathrooms. There are several “living” rooms in the Inn, each with walls of books and magazines to read, fireplaces too. They have wi-fi throughout the Inn and an on-site computer for guests to use if necessary.
The coffee was on at 7 and breakfast served at 9. It was delicious! Homemade granola with blackberry yogurt, chicken/apple sausage, potato pancake and a strawberry crepe. The breakfast was served on a beautiful plate, made by Nicolette. A melted wine bottle, shaped into a rectangular style plate. She sells many of her artistic creations from their wine bottles in their gift shop. Very talented! They also have many wine related gift items and of course, their wine for sale as well.
A very relaxing and rejuvenating night’s stay and a PERFECT place for a destination wedding with out of town guests. They have a beautiful location out on their lawn with an in-ground bar, stone dance floor and amazing landscaped area for wedding set up. And the view….AMAZING!!
I would recommend to anybody for weddings or simply for a night escape from the “real world!”
